Technical Institute of Karbala in Short
The Technical Institute in Holy Karbala is a technical institute established in Karbala in 1988 AD in Iraq, including the Department of Mechanics and the Department of Accounting upon foundation. Students began studying in the academic year 1988-1989 AD, after which the Institute witnessed a remarkable expansion at all levels, whether in terms of the number of accepted students or Where is the number of departments.
The institute aims to prepare technical crews in technological, administrative and medical specialties qualified to be intermediate crews in various sectors by providing technical education that makes the target more distinguished and efficient in quantity and quality in order to keep pace with scientific and technical developments.

- Department of Electrical Technologies: Power Branch, established in 1989.
- Civil Technologies Department: Building and Construction Branch, established in 2010.
- Department of Renewable Energy Technologies: The renewable energy branch, and it was established in 2023 AD.

- Accounting Technologies Department: It was established in 1988.
- Department of Office Management Technologies: It was established in 1996.
- Department of Computer Systems Technology: It was established in 1999.
- Tourism Technologies Department: Guidance Branch and Hotel Management Branch, which was established in 2010.
